Overview
The Lennons Find project is located 75km southeast of Marble Bar in the Pilbara region of WA and is a joint venture with Musketeer Mining Ltd. Three key prospects (Bronze Whaler, Hammerhead and Tiger) have been identified from historical exploration and a mineral resource estimate has been delineated at 1.55Mt @ 5.9% Zn, 0.2% Cu, 1.6% Pb, 0.28 g/t Au and 84 g/t Ag.
The deposit has the characteristics of a VMS mineralisation style with stratiform, lenticular bodies of zinc – lead – copper – silver sulphides hosted in the upper horizon of the Duffer Formation. An extended IP survey conducted in 2024 confirmed a deep chargeability anomaly response from previous programs, approximately 350m below the Hammerhead drilling that requires follow up.
Geological Setting
The project area is located within the Archean Marble Bar greenstone belt on the SE boundary of the Mount Edgar Batholith. The greenstone rocks are comprised of felsic schists of the Duffer Formation and overlain by the Apex Basalt, and both formations are part of the Warrawoona Group.
Base metal mineralisation at Lennons Find is considered to be VMS style and has been mapped over a strike length of 4.5km as discontinuous gossans and disseminated sulphide zones. The base metal mineralisation is predominantly Zn – Pb – Cu – Ag – Au.
